Mint Africa partners with leading provider of ICT services in Angola, MSTelcom
Mint Africa, part of leading Microsoft Partner and global IT consultancy, Mint Group, today announced the establishment of a strategic partnership with MSTelcom, a Telecommunications and Managed Services Provider providing leading Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) services in the Angolan market.
Mint Africa and MSTelcom formed this partnership to bring Microsoft technological solutions to the Angolan market, allowing for the digital transformation of national entities with local support.
“This partnership presents an exciting opportunity for us to train and upskill Angolans and rely on their services to resource our projects. Our Mint experts will provide remote support to ensure excellent delivery,” explains Mint Africa Executive, Dennis Lupambo. “We plan to serve the entire country with Microsoft solutions and make sure these solutions are widely available.”
“A top priority for Microsoft is to enable growth for organizations across the continent through our strategic partnerships. We are proud that Microsoft’s partner, Mint Africa, has partnered with MSTelcom to enable customers full access to Microsoft solutions that are relevant to their business needs. Microsoft remains committed to technological innovations that enhance operational efficiencies, profitability, and positive societal impact,” says Africa Regional Cluster General Manager, Wael Elkabbany.
As a subsidiary of the Sonangol Group, the state petroleum company of Angola, MSTelcom has historically embraced new technologies and services to maintain its competitive advantage over its competitors in the region.
Being the first company in Angola to release a public cloud in Microsoft Azure Stack Hub elevated MSTelcom’s status to that of a well-respected cloud services provider within the Angolan market.
“We look forward to what this partnership will bring, in terms of innovation, to the Angolan market and to the range of companies in the country,” says MSTelcom CEO, Felisberta de Jesus.
“The objective is not to bring technology alone, but also innovation, agility and flexibility, to improve processes and business opportunities for companies in the Angolan market.
This partnership will provide access to technology solutions that will boost productivity for local businesses and help them to gain better insights into their organizational KPIs.”
Felisberta de Jesus continues, “On the other hand, this partnership will allow the seeds of knowledge and investment in local human resources to blossom, resulting in a short-term contribution to meeting the demand for specialists in cutting-edge technologies.”
The partnership between Mint and MSTelcom guarantees an offer of services in the local cloud through the Azure Stack and public through the Microsoft Data Centers, in addition to project implementation and customer relationship management.
